See's Candies Last Day At 2130 Pacific Avenue

Today, SEE'S CANDIES on the MIRACLE MILE at 2130 PACIFIC AVENUE closed for the final time. It opened on NOVEMBER 6, 1953. I will miss this store. Dad took us to this store often. I haven't been there since about the time Dad got sick and was at Hampton Place 5 years ago. The pictures above is from a trip there last Monday, FEBRUARY 23.

5Th Anniversary yesterday of Dad Being Diagnozed with Cancer.

Another sad occasion occurred yesterday (February 4), which marks the 5TH Anniversary when my Dad was diagnozed with Esophogeal Cancer at Saint Joseph's Hospital. Doctors gave him 3 months to live, and they were almost right (he passed away on May 15, 2004). Very Sad! :(
